The Michael & Megan Dent Charitable Trust

We are a grant-giving charitable fund established in 2023 by Michael Dent and Megan Dent to support charities that align with our objectives. We primarily support charities in the Oxford area or with an Oxford connection.

Our current areas of focus are education, relief of poverty/hardship, the Church of England, freedom of speech, and choral & orchestral music.

Charities

We are currently making grants of £40-50k per year in total. Since inception we have made grants totalling £153k. The charities that we have supported are:

• Keble College at the University of Oxford
• The Parish of St Andrews, Old Headington
• The Pharos Foundation
• Oxford Poverty Action
• Instruments of Time and Truth
• Britten Sinfonia

Apply for a grant

We are open to receiving applications for grants, in particular from the Oxford area. To apply for a grant you must be a UK charity, registered for Gift Aid, whose charitable objectives align with ours. If you think this applies to you, click here to contact us.
